Fitter for LPG Tanker Vessel

Job Description

Status Maritime Corp. is recruiting an experienced Fitter for an LPG Tanker Vessel. The successful candidate will support the engine department by carrying out mechanical maintenance, equipment repairs, fabrication, and troubleshooting to help ensure reliable vessel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on vessel machinery.
• Assist engineers with equipment inspections and troubleshooting.
• Carry out fitting, fabrication, and workshop duties as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow company maintenance procedures and onboard safety regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a marine Fitter.
• Valid STCW certificates applicable to the position.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Mechanical maintenance and repair skills.
• LPG or tanker vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
