Job Description
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is seeking a qualified Electrician to maintain and troubleshoot the vessel’s electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Inspect and maintain electrical equipment and installations.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs.
- Assist with the maintenance of motors, lighting, and control systems.
- Follow electrical safety and isolation procedures.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and equipment defects.
Requirements
- Relevant marine electrician qualifications or experience.
- Experience aboard oil/chemical tankers is an advantage where required.
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents, as applicable.
- Valid medical fitness certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
