ETO for Oil Products Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

An urgent recruitment opportunity is available for an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) onboard an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The ETO will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel's electrical and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Troubleshooting electrical faults and carrying out repairs.
• Inspecting automation, control, and monitoring systems.
• Maintaining generators, switchboards, and electrical installations.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid ETO qualifications and relevant certificates.
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same position is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
