Chief Engineer for Oil Tanker Vessel (UAE)

Job Description

WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is urgently recruiting a qualified Chief Engineer to join an Oil Tanker in the UAE.

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the vessel's main propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and engine-room systems. Candidates with a valid UAE Visa on Arrival (VOA) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of all engine-room machinery.
• Manage planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Supervise engine-room personnel and ensure efficient daily operations.
• Monitor machinery performance and maintain required records.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and maritime regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Chief Engineer CoC
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to rank
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Relevant Chief Engineer sea service
• Oil tanker experience preferred
• Proficiency in English communication
• UAE VOA preferred
