Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for a CONRO (Container/Roll-on Roll-off) vessel trading worldwide.
The successful candidate will join the vessel on 14 August for a 3 ± 1 month contract. We are seeking a qualified Chief Engineer with extensive experience on similar vessel types and a strong commitment to safe and efficient engine room operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Managing the engine department and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
- Planning and supervising maintenance, repairs, and inspections of engine room equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintaining accurate technical records and coordinating with shore management.
- Leading and supervising the engine department crew while promoting safe working practices.
Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Valid Chief Engineer's License (COC).
- Minimum 24 months of onboard experience in the rank of Chief Engineer.
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Employment Details:
- Contract Duration: 3 ± 1 months.

- Salary: USD 10,200 per month.
