Job Description:
The Chief Engineer manages all technical operations onboard, ensuring reliability, maintenance, and safety of mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership of the engine department
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of main and auxiliary machinery
• Technical documentation and reporting
• Inventory and spare parts management
• Compliance with engineering safety standards
• Coordination with Master and shore technical teams
Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer CoC
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar vessels
• Strong technical and diagnostic abilities
• Valid STCW certificates and medical documentation
