Job Description:
A leading shipping company is hiring a Chief Engineer for an International Container Vessel. Candidates should have proven experience on international container vessels. A valid US Visa is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise engine department operations.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
Plan and monitor maintenance schedules.
Manage engine room personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Chief Engineer COC
Valid US Visa (preferred)
Previous International Container Vessel experience
Experience as Chief Engineer on similar vessels
