Chief Engineer for Bulk Carrier / VLCC / Oil Chemical Tanker / MPV / Container Carrier Vessels

Job Description

Solpia Marine is recruiting experienced Chief Engineers for its merchant fleet. Candidates with experience on Container Vessels, Bulk Carriers, VLCCs, Oil/Chemical Tankers, or MPVs are invited to attend the onsite recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the safe operation of the engine department.
• Supervise engineering crew and machinery maintenance.
• Ensure planned and corrective maintenance is completed.
• Monitor machinery performance and technical condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as Chief Engineer.
• Experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Valid Chief Engineer CoC and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Good English communication skills.
