Job Description:
Jebsen PTC is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer to join its Bulk Carrier fleet. The Chief Engineer will oversee all engine room operations, planned maintenance, and the safe operation of the vessel's propulsion and auxiliary machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise engine room operations and engineering personnel.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery.
Maintain technical documentation and spare parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency
Previous Chief Engineer experience on Bulk Carriers preferred
