Chief Engineer for Bulk Carrier Vessel (Mozambique)

Job Description:
Lianson Fleet Group Berhad is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for a Bulk Carrier vessel operating in Mozambique. An immediate senior engineer requirement is available for November 2026, with an additional Chief Engineer position included in the upcoming deployment for late November / early December 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising the operation and maintenance of main engines and auxiliary machinery.
• Managing the engine department and coordinating technical activities.
• Planning and monitoring maintenance and repair work.
• Ensuring machinery reliability and operational readiness.
• Maintaining compliance with safety procedures and maritime regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as Chief Engineer onboard Bulk Carrier vessels.
• Relevant experience in the applied rank.
• Valid STCW certification package.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Valid passport, Seaman's Book, and medical fitness certificate.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
