Job Description:
Chief Engineer position on Pure Chemical Tankers and Tug vessels.
Candidates with 12 months experience as Chief Engineer required.
Promotional Chief Officer with Master Certificate of Competency (COC) can also apply.
Indian and Panama COCs accepted.
Positions Available (Ranks):
- Chief Engineer
- Master (Tug)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the engineering department and ensure the safe operation of the vessel's machinery and systems
- Maintain all engineering equipment and perform regular inspections
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety and environmental regulations
- Manage the engineering crew and coordinate maintenance schedules
- Report to the Master and company on technical matters
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months experience as Chief Engineer on chemical tankers
- Promotional Chief Officer with Master COC eligible to apply
- Valid Indian or Panama Certificate of Competency (COC)
- Knowledge of chemical tanker operations
- Ability to work on tug vessels (for Master position)
