Chief Engineer for General Cargo Vessel

Maris Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Chief Engineer for a general cargo fleet.

  • Joining: end of October 2026
  • Contract: 2 months plus or minus 1 month
  • Vessel: General cargo ship, Portugal flag, 5,200 DWT, built in 2026
  • Engine: MAN 6L27/38, 2,100 kW
  • Requirements: valid Certificate of Competency, at least four completed contracts in rank on similar vessels, multinational crew experience and fluent English
