Job Description

Dese Crew Management is recruiting an experienced Bosun for a Bulk Carrier operating in the HRA (High Risk Area) trade area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising deck ratings and supporting safe and efficient deck operations, maintenance, mooring, and cargo-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Supervising deck ratings and coordinating daily deck work.
• Assisting with mooring, anchoring, and cargo operations.
• Organizing and carrying out deck maintenance, painting, and preservation.
• Ensuring proper use and maintenance of deck equipment and tools.
• Supporting safe working practices and compliance with vessel procedures.

Requirements

• Indonesian seafarers only.
• Previous experience as Bosun on a Bulk Carrier is required.
• Experience must be in the same rank and same vessel type.
• All required certificates and documents must be valid for a minimum of 18 months.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seaman’s book and relevant seafarer documents.
