AB for Container Carrier Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is seeking an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for a Container Vessel. The AB will support deck operations, mooring, cargo activities, maintenance, and general seamanship duties onboard.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
• Support cargo-handling operations as assigned.
• Perform routine deck maintenance and preservation.
• Maintain deck equipment and work areas.
• Participate in safety drills and follow onboard procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB certification and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant AB experience.
• Container vessel experience is an advantage.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
