AB for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description:

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting Able Seamen to support deck operations aboard a bulk carrier. The successful candidate will assist with deck maintenance, mooring, and cargo-related activities while maintaining safe working conditions onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform deck maintenance, cleaning, and painting.
• Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations.
• Support cargo operations and handle deck equipment safely.
• Inspect and maintain deck gear as assigned.
• Participate in emergency drills and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Able Seaman certification.
• Previous experience on bulk carriers preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
