AB for Bulk Carrier Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is recruiting an experienced Able Seaman (AB) for a Bulk Carrier. The successful candidate will support deck operations, cargo activities, mooring, maintenance, and general seamanship duties.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with mooring, anchoring, and deck operations.
• Support cargo-handling activities.
• Carry out cleaning, painting, and routine deck maintenance.
• Maintain deck equipment and working areas.
• Follow vessel safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Valid AB certification and STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant AB experience.
• Bulk Carrier experience is an advantage.
• Valid seafarer documents.
• Good English communication skills.
