3rd Engineer for Oil Products Tanker Vessel

Job Description:

An urgent vacancy is available for a qualified Third Engineer onboard an Oil Products Tanker flying the Comoros flag. The vessel was built in 2016 and has a GRT of 2,998.

The Third Engineer will assist with daily engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and technical inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining assigned engine room machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Monitoring auxiliary machinery and engine room systems.
• Carrying out repairs and troubleshooting when required.
• Following engine room safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Third Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Previous Oil Products Tanker experience required.
• Previous experience in the same rank is mandatory.
• Good English communication skills.
