Job Description:
Star Ocean Manning Philippines Inc. is recruiting Second Engineers for tanker vessels. The Second Engineer will assist the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations, maintenance, repairs, and machinery performance.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Chief Engineer with engine department operations.
Supervise maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
Monitor main and auxiliary engine performance.
Manage planned maintenance and engine room records.
Ensure compliance with onboard safety and operational procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant experience in rank
Previous tanker vessel experience preferred
