Job Description:
Crossworld is recruiting Second Engineers to join a Car Carrier Vessel. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel's machinery and engine room systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Chief Engineer with the operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary machinery.
Supervise engine room maintenance and repair activities.
Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Ensure planned maintenance and safety procedures are properly followed.
Maintain accurate engine room records and reports.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid Certificate of Competency as Second Engineer, as applicable
Valid medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Relevant experience in rank
Previous Car Carrier / Ro-Ro vessel experience preferred
