Job Description:
Group Phils., Inc. is recruiting an experienced 2nd Engineer to join an oil/chemical tanker. The successful candidate will assist in the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel’s main engine, auxiliary machinery, and engine-room systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Supervise and assist with engine-room operations and maintenance.
Monitor main and auxiliary machinery.
Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Maintain technical records and comply with onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid 2nd Engineer Certificate of Competency
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Previous oil/chemical tanker experience preferred
Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
