Job Description:
The 2nd Engineer assists the Chief Engineer in managing engine room operations, machinery maintenance, and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operation and monitoring of all engine room systems
• Execution of planned maintenance
• Management of engine crew during watch
• Reporting equipment performance and abnormalities
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
• Valid 2nd Engineer CoC
• Previous experience in rank preferred
• Strong engineering and machinery-handling knowledge
• Full STCW compliance and medical fitness
