Job Description
A Chemical Tanker operator is seeking a qualified 2nd Engineer to support engine room operations onboard vessels trading in Spanish waters.
The successful candidate will assist in supervising engineering personnel, maintaining machinery reliability, and ensuring efficient engine room operations.

Job Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations
Supervise maintenance and repair activities
Monitor propulsion and auxiliary machinery
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Maintain maintenance records and technical reports
Support troubleshooting and equipment inspections
Requirements
Valid STCW certification package
Valid Engineering Certificate of Competency
Advanced Chemical Tanker Training Certificate
Experience with MAN 6L21/31 machinery
Diesel Electric and VFD experience required
Previous Chemical Tanker experience preferred
Valid passport, seaman book, and medical certificate
Good English communication skills
