2nd Engineer for Bitumen / Oil Chemical Tanker Vessels

Job Description

Jebsen PTC Maritime Incorporated is hiring an experienced Second Engineer for a Bitumen / Oil Chemical Tanker. The successful candidate will assist the Chief Engineer in supervising engine-room operations, maintaining propulsion and auxiliary machinery, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise engine-room operations and machinery maintenance.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor propulsion and auxiliary machinery performance.
• Support troubleshooting, repairs, and technical inspections.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and maritime safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Second Engineer Certificate of Competency.
• Main Engine (ME) experience required.
• Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant experience in rank.
• Valid passport and seafarer's documents.
• Good English communication skills.
