Job Description:
Bulk Carrier (Ultramax – Geared) requiring Chief Engineer (C/E) and Second Engineer (2/E) with rank experience and main engine experience.
Positions Available (Ranks):
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain the main engine and associated machinery on the bulk carrier
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Assist the Chief Engineer in daily engine department operations
- Maintain engine room logs and reports
- Supervise engine room crew and coordinate maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Rank experience as Second Engineer or equivalent
- Experience with main engine (ME) operation and maintenance
- Valid certifications and licenses as per maritime regulations
- Ability to work on Ultramax geared bulk carriers
- Good communication and teamwork skills
