Job Description

Solpia Marine is recruiting experienced 2nd Assistant Engineers for its merchant fleet to support safe engine-room operations and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Carry out inspections and routine maintenance.
• Monitor machinery condition and performance.
• Assist with planned and corrective maintenance.
• Follow engine-room safety and environmental procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as 2nd Assistant Engineer.
• Experience on the applicable vessel type.
• Valid CoC and STCW certificates applicable to the rank.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Good English communication skills.
