Position
Description
Responsible on his/her shift for the operation of the drilling equipment and for ensuring that it is being operated in accordance with operational procedures.
Ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the drilling program and that they are executed according to CDE's and client procedures.
Assist the Drilling Section Leader in following-up of the maintenance of the drilling equipment.
Ensure that all required consumables and equipment for the drilling section are available onboard.
Ensure that relevant level 4 procedures, work instructions and manuals etc. are revised if necessary.
Ensure good communication and working relationship with the OIM, the Rig Manager and section leaders as well as 3rd party and Clients representative.
Perform active leadership in cooperation with the DSL. Ensure that work permits and SJA are established when required.
Ensure that all employees in the drilling section are given necessary instructions.
Complete daily journals/logs in connection with drilling operations.
