Short summary
We are looking for an onshore Roustabout on the yard fulltime. Start as soon as possible. Position is located in the Netherlands, Zeeland. Not a rotation, so you will work from Monday till Friday.
Job description
As Roustabout you will provide a wide range of activities on the yard and on the reactivated / converted units as per below description.
Tasks and responsibilities
Yard / under supervision Chief engineer:
-Ensure mechanical workshop in good order (sorting tools,
inventory, etc.)
-Assist chief engineer for servicing of equipment: diesel
generators, compressors, forklifts, etc.
-Perform walkaround on cold stacked unit and report condition
-Assist warehouse coordinator for various work in the warehouse
(assist with forklift / cherry picker operation, discharging and storing of
material, etc.)
-Carry general maintenance work on the yard
-Perform refueling of all diesel equipment
-General housekeeping
Rig Move / under supervision of Rig move master:
-Assist during rig reactivation
-Perform sea fastening of material onboard the unit
-Assist during rig move operations
Project / under supervision of Chief engineer:
-Perform emptying and cleaning of the rig
-Perform various mechanical work
-Perform refueling of all diesel engines onboard
Job requirements
What do you need to have?
-Forklift license
-Cherry license (will be an advantage)
-Experience in Marine / Offshore industry
-Mechanical background
-Strong Safety awareness
-Able to work in autonomy
-Good communication skills. Good English level
-Teamwork spirit
