Description

Coordinator for Drilling Project(UK)
Lead the creation, implementation, and management of comprehensive Test & Inspection Plans for repair availabilities in the Indo-Pac region in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Item (NSI) 009-04.
Provide NSI 009-04 quality services to the Project Management team to ensure Work Item compliance and NAVSEA/Local Standard Item compliance during planning and execution phases.
Lead the creation, maintenance, and submission of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) for certification of work completion.
Review and approve Required Reports and Condition Found Reports for compliance prior to submittal to SUPERVISOR.
Review 4E work specifications to identify quality challenges and to ensure lessons learned are applied during the proposal and planning phases.
Mentor and train the Lead Maintenance Activity (LMA) personnel to ensure knowledge of NAVSEA requirements and the Company PDSS quality management system is applied and effective.
Lead the LMA team in the sharing and application of quality lessons learned and other continuous improvement efforts.
Engage with subcontractor personnel to ensure quality control methods meet contractual requirements.
Provide direction to subcontracted NDT inspectors and NACE/NBPI inspectors as required.
Perform verification activities to determine satisfactory performance of contracted work.
Liaise with the customer to witness and document tests and inspections, determine accept/reject, and to address quality issues.
Review Process Control Procedures (PCP), NDT procedures, and welding procedures to ensure technical and quality adequacy for the scope of work.
Supervise the execution of PCPs and other critical work processes and accuracy and completion of documentation for submittal to the SUPERVISOR.
Develop and maintain Quality Metrics.
