To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Technical Safety – Passive Fire Protection Engineer who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing?

You will be working as Technical Safety – Passive Fire Protection Engineer together with other colleagues in the Rosebank project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

Establish design philosophies/specifications for passive fire protection (PFP)
Establish passive fire protection drawings
Multi-discipline collaboration to ensure implementation of the relevant safety philosophies
Participate in and / or facilitate workshops, design reviews where PFP design is addressed

We think you should have some of the following:


Relevant experience from offshore oil and gas installations
Knowledge of relevant regulations and specifications
Software skills: Microsoft Tools
Fluent English, spoken and written

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: June 2024 with option for extension
