Position
Description
· Responsible for drilling engineering design work and operational engineering support
· Agree well objectives with the Exploration / Development / Subsurface Teams
· Conduct the well planning for the Basis of Well and Casing design ensuring risk management systems are implemented
· Organising and conducting Well Design Peer reviews
· Engineering design using Compass and StressCheck software
· Develop and review of Well Barrier Schematics
· Deliver Well Permits and Notifications aligned with UK requirements
· Compile final well reports
· Preparation of Drilling and/or Abandonment / Suspension Programmes
· Operational support to the Drilling Superintendent
