Skills / Qualifications
• Bachelors (minimum) or Masters (preferred) Degree in engineering discipline
• Pennsylvania PE preferred
• More than 10 years progressively more responsible pertinent industry experience
• Technically competent in own discipline, pursues continuous professional development of skills and knowledge
• Professional level of knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
• Able to supervise, manage, motivate, and mentor technical professionals
• Good interpersonal and team working skills, builds positive relationships with supervisors, subordinates, peers, and clients
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for inter-departmental and external company interactions, both verbally and in written form
• Creative and innovative in finding solutions and alternatives to address complex client requirements
• Able to diagnose and resolve significant and unusual problems and generate substantial improvements to practices and procedures
• Able to adapt and troubleshoot solutions
• Adaptable and flexible to the changing needs of projects
• Possess a working understanding of multiple disciplines
• Able to understand, execute and oversee project scope, budget, and schedule
• Able to perform job function on-site at client's facility, which may include climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, extensive walking
• Enthusiastic, conscientious, and committed to continuous professional development of self and others
• High level of awareness and commitment to safety in all aspects of daily work
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Highly motivated and demonstrates personal initiative
