Description
We are hiring Rigid Pipeline Engineer I or II for Hyderabad
Interview location- Noida
Job Purpose
·To perform various activities related to subsea rigid pipeline in-place design and installation.
(Skills & Qualifications)
·Must have
i. Minimum 3-10 years of experience undertaking design or installation of subsea pipelines;
ii. Minimum - Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology degree in civil/ mechanical or any other relevant engineering disciplines;
iii. Experience in pipeline in-place calculations or analysis for on-bottom stability, global buckling, spanning, expansion, etc.;
iv. Experience in Riser, tie-in spool & jumper analysis using CAESAR II or AutoPIPE;
v. Experience in pipeline installation analysis using OrcaFlex or OFFPIPE;
vi. Must have good computer skills and be proficient on Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mathcad;
vii. Must have good communication, writing and presentation skills in English, and excellent work ethics and work attitude; organisational skills a must;
·Nice to have
i. Specialist Masters;
ii. Knowledge of pipelay methods (S-Lay, J-Lay, Reel-Lay) and design consequences thereof;
iii. Experience using Abaqus FE software, including subroutines and scripts;
iv. Programming in Python and/or Visual Basic or others;
