Qualifications
Education:
Engineering degree with Materials, Metallurgical or Mechanical specialization (eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer).
Or diploma and solid work experience in above areas.
Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in either a R&D or a product development environment with experience in welding, non-destructive testing, corrosion and mechanical testing of materials.
Strong knowledge of metallurgy, welding, corrosion engineering and mitigation, and metal wear mechanisms.
Strong knowledge of materials specifications development and standards.
Training and practical application of root cause failure analysis techniques.
Artificial lift systems experience in progressing cavity pump and reciprocating rod lift design an asset.
Skills:
Strong technical reporting and writing skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Project management experience and skills.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office software.

Self-starter and multi-tasking.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism.
