Description

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 12 years’ experience in Electrical Discipline Engineering for EPC Projects as Lead EPC role is preferred.

Responsibilities / Authorities (Brief):
Capable to handle and Lead the Team of Electrical Discipline Engineering for EPC Projects.
Design & Detail Engineering experience in Oil & gas industry preferred.

Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical systems and equipment needed.
Aware of International standards as IEC, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI etc. standards.
Prepare / review Electrical Project Design basis, Single Line Diagrams, Load schedules, UPS Sizing, Cable sizing calculations for HV and LV Cables, Earthing, Cable trays, Layouts/ Drawings, Lightings and Lightening protections.
Preparation / Review of Layout Drawings for Cable Raceways / Earthing / Power / Lighting, Lighting Wiring Diagrams.
Participate in development and/or review and approval of site procedures and method statements regarding permanent and temporary electrical installations.
Participate in meetings, assist with construction activities, Punch lists etc.
Review of Engineering Sub-Contractor deliverables and drawings.
Experience in Brownfield Electrical system upgrades, installations, commissioning and start up preferred.
Review OEM Vendor documents/drawings as OEM Manuals, Operation, and maintenance manuals. Ensure vendor documentation is properly managed, and comments returned in timely manner.
Communication, Coordination, and Interfacing with various Proj Depts, and Client.
Monitor Electrical Engineering progress and ensure necessary information flow between disciplines to meet project milestone. Contribute and provide electrical engineering professional project status reports
Experience in Electrical system Installation, start-up / commissioning activities.
Gulf Experience preferred.
Shall be available to join on short notice.
Shall work at HO and Site as required.
