Job requirements
Functions as officer in charge of an engineering watch
Responsible for the day to day maintenance and repair works to vessel
Entrusted with the responsibility of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair and administration of all vessels machinery
Responsible to ensure that correct PPE is available and in use by personnel under his authority
To ensure and carry out safe and efficient watch keeping practices in the engine control room and machinery spaces to the Chief Engineers requirements
Assist and perform all duties under the Chief Engineer.
