Atlas Professionals are currently looking for UK BASED Rig Electricians to mobilize to various installations across the North Sea, applicants with experience are preferred, all Mandatory Certs are Required (See Job Requirements)

Job description
Rig Electrician
· Ensuring that regular preventive maintenance activities and special projects involving electrical components and systems are performed in a timely manner to prevent down time.
· Ensuring the efficiency and continual functioning of all electrical equipment.
· Troubleshooting and planning all projects.
· Ensuring work is performed in a safe manner while complying with all company rules and regulations as they pertain to the electrical components.

Chief Electrician
· Responsible for the maintenance ofall on board electrical system.
· Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
· Ensuring reliable electrical power is provided to the rig.
· Installing, testing, maintaining and repairing rig electrical equipment.
· Working with all types of electrical systems, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls and related electrical devices.
· Responsible for training and supervising junior electrical staff.
· Performing and interpreting power calculations.
· Insulations tests and positive relay tests.
· Coordinating with the Rig Manager on the repair and refurbishment of equipment on board.
· Routinely testing circuit connections using proper electrical testing equipment.
· Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of electrical schematics and all electrical systems.
· Gathering and interpreting data from electrical instruments.
· Anticipating potential dangers and acting accordingly.
· Maintaining an adequate supply of spare electrical parts to allow efficient repair and/or replacement.
· Completing reports of repair and maintenance performed.
· Effectively communicating electrical information to clients, supervisors and electrical worker.
· Assigning tasks to electrical workers as and when required.

COMPEX, BOSIET or FOET (SURVIVAL), MIST, OGUK MEDICAL, SHOULDER MEASUREMENTS.
