Position
Description
Training of all crew members on all aspects of the rig operations and equipment
Accountable and responsible for rig condition and housekeeping
Organise and complete maintenance requirements on the rig
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of rig operations
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the well program
Use technology to monitor and report on work progress (Pason system)
Operate the rig for all required operations
Advanced knowledge in all well control requirements (kick detection, kill sheets, well control principles)
Perform and assist the Rig Manager in incident investigation as required
Show effective leadership in all operations
Use Savanna safe systems of work (such as permit to work, job hazard analysis and isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out) when undertaking work prescribed by such systems
Identify potential hazards and prepare appropriate responses
