Job Description

Prime Ocean is actively seeking experienced Offshore Crane Operators for upcoming opportunities in the Gulf of Mexico. Candidates must have proven experience operating cranes in an offshore environment, a strong understanding of lifting and rigging operations, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

The successful candidate will support offshore lifting activities and work closely with offshore crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently during lifting and cargo-handling operations.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and ensure lifting equipment is in suitable working condition.
• Coordinate lifting activities with rigging personnel and offshore teams.
• Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and offshore safety procedures.
• Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions, and operational concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational records and comply with company and site requirements.

Requirements

• Previous offshore experience as a Crane Operator.
• Proven experience operating cranes in an offshore environment.
• Strong knowledge of offshore lifting and rigging operations.
• Current and valid offshore certifications required for the position.
• Safety-focused, dependable, and able to work effectively with offshore crews.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
