Job Description
TOS People is seeking an experienced Crane Operator to carry out lifting operations safely and efficiently onboard an FPSO or similar offshore vessel.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Operate the assigned crane in accordance with approved lifting plans.
- Conduct pre-use checks and report equipment defects.
- Coordinate lifting operations with deck crew and other personnel.
- Follow lifting procedures, exclusion zones, and load-handling requirements.
- Maintain operational records and comply with offshore safety rules.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same rank and on the same or similar vessel type: FSO, FPSO, large offshore vessel, or tanker.
- Good English communication skills.
- Valid BOSIET, FOET, and AOT/BOCT certificates as required.
- Valid crane operator training or certification appropriate to the equipment and jurisdiction.
- Valid offshore medical certificate and seafarer documents as applicable.
