Job Description:
We are urgently seeking an experienced and highly professional Yacht Captain to take full command of a Private Motor Yacht based in the United Arab Emirates. This position requires a confident leader with extensive yacht operation experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to ensure safe, efficient, and discreet vessel operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small crew, maintaining onboard systems, and delivering exceptional service while ensuring complete privacy for VIP guests. Candidates must already be available in the UAE and be comfortable undertaking extended voyages.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Take full command of the private motor yacht and ensure the safe operation of the vessel.
Manage and supervise a small onboard crew while coordinating daily vessel activities.
Oversee navigation, passage planning, maintenance, and operational readiness of all yacht systems.
Ensure engines, generators, navigation equipment, and safety systems are properly maintained.
Deliver a high standard of service while maintaining complete confidentiality and professionalism when working with VIP guests.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Filipino nationality only.
Valid Yacht Captain License appropriate for the vessel size and flag (minimum 24 meters or 100 GT).
Proven experience as a Captain on private motor yachts.
Strong leadership, operational, and yacht management skills.
Solid knowledge of yacht systems, including engines, generators, navigation, and onboard equipment.
Ability to manage a small crew and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Comfortable with long voyages.
Must be currently available in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
