Night Cook / Baker for Jack-Up Rig

Job Description

An experienced Night Cook / Baker is required to join a Jack-Up Rig operating offshore in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals and baked products during night operations and maintaining high standards of food hygiene, galley cleanliness, and catering service for approximately 40 persons onboard.

The position is offered on a 5 weeks on / 5 weeks off rotation with an ASAP start.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve meals during night shifts for approximately 40 persons onboard.
• Prepare fresh bakery and other food products as required.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and galley safety.
• Monitor food stocks and assist with catering provisions.
• Follow vessel procedures and offshore health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Night Cook / Baker, preferably in an offshore or marine environment.
• Valid UK Work Permit.
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book.
• Valid HUET.
• Valid CA-EBS.
• GWO Working at Heights certification.
• Valid Chester Step Test.
• Valid OGUK Medical — may be obtained after approval.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
