Job Description:
689 SMCS Offshore is urgently recruiting a Cook to join an Offshore Vessel. The successful candidate must hold a valid NC3 Cook qualification and will be responsible for preparing meals for the crew, maintaining galley hygiene, managing provisions, and ensuring compliance with onboard food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare daily meals and menus for the crew.
Maintain high standards of galley cleanliness and food hygiene.
Manage food provisions and monitor stock levels.
Ensure proper food storage and safe food handling.
Follow onboard safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
Requirements:
NC3 Cook qualification required
Previous Cook experience onboard offshore vessels preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid seafarer's documents
Availability for urgent deployment
