Vessel Type: Offshore Support Vessel
An offshore operator is urgently seeking an experienced 1st Cook to join an offshore support vessel for an immediate mobilization. Departure is scheduled tomorrow, and the successful candidate will join a 5-week offshore rotation supporting vessel operations by providing high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.
Due to the vessel's operational area, EU crew members only are eligible to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Prepare and serve nutritious meals for all crew members onboard.
Maintain high standards of galley hygiene and food safety in accordance with HACCP procedures.
Manage food inventory, storage, and provisioning.
Ensure compliance with company catering procedures and offshore safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all galley facilities.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate (STCW Medical)
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Certificate of Competency (Ship's Cook CoC)
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Valid HUET certificate
CA-EBS certificate
Basic Safety Training (BST)
Security Awareness certificate
Galley Operations Level 2 (HACCP)
Galley Operations Level 3 (Food Handling)
English Test certificate
EU crew members only
Previous offshore cooking experience preferred
Employment Details:
Contract Duration: 5 weeks
Joining Date: Immediate (Departure scheduled for tomorrow)
