The vessel was burning with a batch of wheat

Several days ago, in the Black Sea, near the Rybakovka of the Berezansky District of the Nikolayevsk Oblast, a fire occurred on the dry cargo Prince 4, which left the port of Nikolayev in Yemen.
It is noted that on 12 February the Prince 4 vessel was at the 10th berth of the Port of Nikolayevsk, moored at 6:50 am and sailed under the flag of the Comoros. According to the publication, the vessel had 11.5 thousand tons of wheat
There were 19 members of the crew on board, including Syrian and Indian nationals.
We received information that the ship was on fire. Our tugboats were in that area. We responded and went to help», - told the director of «NIBULON» company Alexey Vadatursky.

According to him, the fire had been reported around 7:00 and the tugs had arrived at the scene within an hour and a half. According to Alexei Vadatursky, at 21:30 they started cooling the deck of the ship so that fuel, fire and smoke would not pass on to other knots and the ship would not lose balance.

He believes the emergency situation was towed during the day. According to the crew members, the ship was planning to deal with the situation on its own, so they did not ask for help.
Fortunately, the fire on the vessel was reported to have been extinguished.
