Job Description:
Team Recruitment is currently seeking an Assistant Crane Operator (ACO) to join an offshore project based in Invergordon, United Kingdom. This is a short-term opportunity for an experienced candidate who is available for immediate mobilisation. The successful applicant will assist with safe and efficient crane operations, supporting lifting activities while ensuring compliance with company procedures and offshore safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Crane Operator with offshore lifting and cargo handling operations.
Support pre-use inspections and routine maintenance checks of lifting equipment.
Ensure lifting activities are carried out safely in accordance with approved procedures.
Communicate effectively with deck personnel during crane operations.
Maintain compliance with company HSE policies and offshore safety regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
Medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Must be based in the United Kingdom.
Must be able to travel to Invergordon at short notice.
Previous offshore experience as an Assistant Crane Operator (ACO) or in a similar lifting operations role is preferred.
