Job Description:
PG MARITIME PVT LTD is seeking a 3rd Officer for Geared Bulk Carrier vessels.
Candidates should have 6-12 months rank experience as a Third Officer (3/O) on geared bulk carriers.
The company also recruits for other ranks and vessel types including VLGC, Container Vessels, and Feeder Container vessels with specified rank experience requirements.
Positions Available (Ranks):
- 3rd Officer (3/O) on Geared Bulk Carrier
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as a Third Officer on geared bulk carriers in compliance with company and maritime regulations
- Assist in navigation and watchkeeping duties
- Ensure safety and security of the vessel and crew during the watch
- Maintain proper communication with the bridge team and other departments
- Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
Requirements:
- 6-12 months rank experience as Third Officer (3/O) on geared bulk carriers
- Valid certifications and licenses as per maritime regulations
- Ability to work full-time onboard
