3rd Officer on Conro Vessel (Spain)

Location: Spain

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified 3rd Officer to join a CONRO vessel operating in the waters around Spain. The contract duration is 5 ± 1 months, with the joining date scheduled for mid-November. The successful candidate must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) License and have completed an English language test within the last 3 months. Previous experience on RoRo vessels is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting the Master and senior deck officers with safe navigation and vessel operations
• Maintaining navigational watches in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations
• Assisting with cargo operations, including RoRo and container cargo handling
• Carrying out safety, security, and deck maintenance duties as assigned
• Maintaining required navigational, safety, and operational records

Requirements:
• Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) License
• Valid COC, Flag State Endorsement, and STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Completed English language test within the last 3 months
• Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience as 3rd Officer on similar types of vessels
• RoRo vessel experience is preferred
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with documented sea service
• References from previous employers
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
