Position: Hotel Department Staff (Various Vacancies)

Job Description:
Columbia Shipmanagement (Indonesia) is recruiting experienced hotel staff for upcoming positions with a major international cruise line. We are looking for dedicated professionals to ensure the highest standards of food & beverage service, cleanliness, and galley operations onboard a modern passenger vessel. Successful candidates will join a dynamic team in a multicultural environment, with contracts offered on a standard maritime rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company and cruise line policy, the main duties will vary by position and include but are not limited to:
• F&B Utility / Galley Utility: Supporting kitchen and restaurant operations, including cleaning, stocking supplies, dishwashing, and basic food preparation assistance.
• Cook / 15T Cook / Cook Baker: Preparing high-quality meals, pastries, and baked goods according to standardized recipes and menus for passengers and crew.
• Head Baker: Leading the bakery section, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and supervising junior bakery staff.
• Public Area Cleaner: Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all public spaces, including lounges, corridors, and restrooms.
• HK Storekeeper: Managing the inventory, storage, and distribution of housekeeping supplies, linen, and uniforms.
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates (with updated training).
• Medical fitness certificate (including a galley-specific medical where applicable).
• Proficiency in basic English communication is essential for safety and teamwork.
• Previous experience in the same or similar role in the cruise line industry is highly preferred.
• Relevant culinary certificates or proven apprenticeship for Cook/Baker positions.
Employment Details:
• Contract Duration: Standard cruise industry rotation (e.g., 6-8 months onboard with leave).
• Salary: Competitive, based on position and experience, in accordance with cruise line standards.
