Location: Valencia, Spain
Project: New Container Terminal – Port of Valencia
Job Type: Full-time

About the Project
Be part of one of Europe's largest infrastructure projects! The Port of Valencia is developing a new container terminal with a €1.564 billion investment, designed to increase efficiency and sustainability. To support this large-scale construction, we are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to maintain and repair the machinery essential to this project.

Job description
Job Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy construction equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, and cranes.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement scheduled servicing and part replacements to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all repairs meet safety and environmental standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with operators and site managers to maintain optimal machinery performance.

Job requirements
Requirements
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic in large construction projects.
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding repairs.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong understanding of safety regulations in construction environments.
Valid certifications/licenses for heavy machinery maintenance.
Spanish and/or English proficiency is a plus.
