Job Description

TOS People is currently recruiting an experienced Welder to join a DP2 Fall Pipe Rock Installation Vessel operating on offshore installation projects in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding, fabrication, and steel repair work onboard while supporting offshore rock installation operations and ensuring compliance with company HSE procedures and international offshore safety standards.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore welders with valid UK work authorization who are available for immediate mobilization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform welding, fabrication, and structural steel repairs onboard.
  • Carry out maintenance and repair of deck equipment and vessel structures.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.
  • Ensure welding work complies with company quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect welding equipment and maintain tools in safe working condition.
  • Participate in planned maintenance activities.
  • Comply with offshore HSE regulations and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Participate in emergency drills and onboard safety meetings.

Requirements

General Requirements

  • Previous offshore experience as a Welder is preferred.
  • Valid UK Work Permit is mandatory.
  • Valid STCW 2010 Basic Safety Training certificates.
  • Valid Passport, Seaman's Book, and Medical Certificate.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork abilities.
  • Physically and medically fit for offshore work.
